Instrument Mechanic - Red Seal Certified

The location in Port Mellon, (British Columbia, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Instrument Mechanic - Red Seal Certified. This job is full-time permanent.

As a member of the Maintenance team, you will provide safe maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment and systems to ensure optimum production. 
 

Required Skills and Qualifications
•    Red Seal Certification
•    Experience working within an industrial setting
•    Experience in calibration, installation and maintenance of varied industrial instrumentation devices.
•    Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), analytical instrumentation and similar equipment in Kraft Pulp operations a benefit.
•    Superior troubleshooting skills
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•    Commitment to working safely

 

Compensation and Benefits
•    Hourly rate of $48.66 as per the Howe Sound Labour Agreement
•    Overtime is compensated per the Howe Sound Labour Agreement
•    Comprehensive benefits package including extended health/dental coverage and pension
•    Relocation benefit
