The location in Nekoosa, (Wisconsin, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of HR & Executive Assistant. This job is full-time permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and selection
- Support interview and placement of new hourly hires.
- Administer all steps of the SHL hiring process.
- Coordinate and post hourly job bid openings in accordance with collective bargaining agreement requirements.
- Maintain accurate departmental seniority records for all hourly employees
Training & Development
- Provide administrative support for training and development initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics for training events, sessions, and related activities.
- Serve as backup support for the HR Advisor as required.
- Provide apprentice system support as needed
Executive Assistant
- Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
- Support absence management tracking and documentation.
- Maintain confidential employee information and ensure compliance with privacy and record-keeping standards.
- Assist and/or arrange travel itineraries as needed.
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
- Coordinate community events
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Well organized
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to recognize priorities
- Ability to strictly maintain and effectively handle confidential information.
- Certificate or diploma in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- A minimum of two-years office experience, preferably in a human resources environment.

You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions).
