The location in Morristown, (Tennessee, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Material Handler. This job is full-time permanent.

POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

This position is responsible for all accountability of finished goods from production to order fulfillment. Research discrepancies and report findings in a timely manner.  This person will also help with other shipping functions as needed.  A motivated, self-starter is a must as this position will require someone who is always looking for ways to improve the flow of materials.    There are no set jobs in the shipping department and candidates must be willing to work wherever help is needed. Must be willing to work overtime on short notice and be willing to come in early/stay late to cover for vacations or call ins. Must work well with others and maintain an open and honest relationship with all employees therefore creating a pleasant work environment. All Shipping Department associate must stay each day until all orders have been fulfilled. 

Essential Functions: 

1.  Unload automatic wrapper and put-away product.

2.  Responsible for reconciliation of product from production.

3.  Continually re-allocating space for material changes.

4.  Be a team player with consistent improvement of work flow at a high rate of speed and accuracy.

5.  Maintain warehouse and receiving area at plant. Keep plastic, wood chips, and paper picked up.       

      Keep isles clean and clear always.

6.  Perform M3/scanner and misc. office functions and other duties as assigned.

7.  Other duties as assigned (you can and will be asked to work at off site locations).

8.  Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold.

9.  Must be able to work overtime.

 Qualifications (Skills & Educational Requirements):

1.  High School Diploma or GED

2.  Must be self-motivated.

3.  Ability to operate wrapper. 

4.  Ability to operate forklift and or clamp truck and work 24 feet in the air.  (3 to 5 Yrs. Exp. Required)

5.  Lift heavy weights up to 50 pounds repeatedly to heights up to six feet.

6.  Must be able to read and understand shipping documents.

7.  Ability to complete M3/scanner functions for shipping/receiving department a must.

8.  Must be able to add, subtract, read and write.

9.  Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

10. Must have an excellent attendance record.
