The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Internal Auditor. This job is full-time permanent.
Reporting to the Manager, Compliance, you will be part of a dynamic and committed team and actively participate in the Department’s activities. These activities include performing operational, financial, compliance and strategic audits, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing, special requests and investigations.
Your Challenges:
- Participate in end-to-end audit processes (planning, testing, reporting, follow-up).
- Identify risks and internal control gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Document and analyze business processes using flowcharts and narratives.
- Perform SOX compliance testing and support investigations or special projects.
- Communicate audit progress and findings clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
- Follow up on prior audit actions and reassess risk exposure.
- Work on multiple priorities in a dynamic, changing environment.

Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in audit or similar field.
- Fully bilingual (English & French) required*.
- Professional certifications: CPA (preferred), CISA, CIA, CFE (assets).
- Advanced skills in Excel and Word.
- Strong knowledge of Internal controls, risk, financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS (asset).
- Experience with Data analytics tools (pattern/risk identification) and ERP systems like SAP / JDE (asset).
- Willingness to travel ~10–15% (Canada/US).
