Coordinator, Logistics Support

This position is based in Montreal, Quebec and reports to the Manager, Logistics Support.  

This role is a 12 months temporary position with possibility of renewal.

 

The Logistics Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and processing requests that require invoice and inventory adjustments, as well as managing returns, whether physical or virtual, with the customer’s needs in mind. Depending on the situation, this role works closely with multiple business groups, including Quality, Customer Service, Job Lot Resale, Finance, and mill, RRC, and converter shipping and receiving teams. 

 

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Validate Inventory related Credit request:  Confirming the Inventory disposition / location before approving the request for Credit.
  • Creating a return order to permit Inventory reception in multiple systems.
  • Make transportation arrangement at the lowest cost possible and the best efficiency considering our customer’s needs.
  • Coordinating the disposition of Less then Prime Inventory on customer floors.
  • Important Ocean Carrier Statement reconciliation.
  • When needed, help with other Logistics Support tasks.

 

Key Skill Sets:

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal;
  • You are known for your excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • You are customer oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills and you work well in a team environment;
  • You are very dynamic, dedicated, resourceful and able to multitask.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You hold a college degree or the equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of three (3) years related experience in Logistics and Transportation or Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of SAP, is considered an asset.
