The location in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Accountant, Accounts Payables. This job is full-time permanent.
Reporting to the supervisor, Accounts Payable, your role as Analyst, Accounts Payable, will consist of updating training and procedural documents, providing support to the Manager and Supervisor in the preparation of various reports and in the execution of different projects. Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Act as a resource person for various Travel & Expenses (T&E) aspects (accruals, JE reclass, balance weekly payments)
• Produce monthly reports for T&E that could identify any T&E duplicate payment & collect and correct amounts.
• Prepare various month-end reports for CORP, management and mills.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for related T&E accounts payable accounts.
• Prepare and conduct simulation tests for systems modifications.
• Participate in implementing projects related to accounts payable when applicable.
• Prepare accounting documents to check deposits.
• Responsible for the monthly upload of the P cards into SAP and making sure payments are done on time.
• Participate in the weekly and monthly SAE reconciliations
Key Skills:
• Good organizational skills and customer service oriented.
• You have strong business, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2 to 3 years of experience.
• Experience in accounts payable is an asset.
• Good knowledge of IT software (Microsoft office and advanced knowledge of Excel). SAP and concur experience is a plus.
• Spoken and written, English & French is essential.
