Domtar, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team. This position is a Monday – Friday 1st shift position. This position will assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed, which may be outside of regular hours.

The Maintenance Mechanic will safely and properly maintain mobile and associated equipment in a timely manner to ensure proper reliability. Additional responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot and repair all mobile equipment, bucket and scissor lifts, pressure washers and fuel storage tanks.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to provide on above equipment to ensure proper reliability.
- Assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed.
- Housekeeping of equipment and work area.
- Complete and maintain proper paperwork for inspections, stores and work orders.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidates should have prior experience in an industrial environment and previous mechanical experience, preferably with forklifts. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems are critical to this position along with an understanding and knowledge of Preventative Maintenance.
Successful applicants need to be self-directed individuals and must possess excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills as well as good written and oral skills. Must be professional and able to work both independently and as part of our team.
