The location in Fort Mill, (South Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Facilities Maintenance Coordinator. This job is full-time permanent.
Overview: The Facilities Coordinator, in partnership with and direction from the Facilities Manager, is responsible for providing on-site facilities management to more than 375 employees in two buildings. In addition to facilities support, this role will be responsible for the Fort Mill mailroom; distributing mail, receiving deliveries, and coordinating incoming and outgoing mail. The ideal candidate understands the importance of providing a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained office environment while managing competing demands and delivering high-quality service.
Our Fort Mill campus operates Monday through Friday with regular business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. On occasion, this position may need to work outside regular hours of operation.
Your challenges:
- Perform light‑duty troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
- Manage, track, and delegate work orders to 3rd party service requests.
- Support vendors providing janitorial, flooring, painting, plumbing, food service, and related services.
- Provide support to employees and leaders with office/desk moves, including furniture placement, chair exchanges, workspace reconfigurations, as well as event set-up.
- Transport, install, repair, and adjust ergonomic equipment.
- Maintain inventory of workspace supplies and attic stock.
- Disconnect and reconnect break room equipment during janitorial deep cleans.
- Assist with secure document destruction and file purge projects.
- Perform routine checks of first aid cabinets and AED units.
- Support moves, event setups, and reconfigurations across campus.
- Conduct preventative inspections of floors, stairwells, exit doors, and building conditions.
- Update wall‑mounted clocks twice per year.
- Collect toner, batteries, and related recyclable materials from print rooms and prepare shipments for responsible landfill diversion.
- Receive, sort, and deliver incoming mail throughout the facility.
- Pick up and process outgoing mail and packages for USPS and FedEx.
- Operate FedEx Ship Manager and postage metering systems to properly weigh, prepare, and apply postage to outgoing items.
- Maintain inventory of mailroom supplies and reorder.
- Assist employees with mailing questions and shipping needs, including bulky package handling and mailings, as needed.
- Support cross-functional roles as needed

- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask.

- Comfortable with twisting, bending, stooping, grasping, and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literate and comfortable with new software.
- Team‑oriented with a proactive, helpful attitude.
- Mechanical aptitude and maintenance repair ability.
Your profile:
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of office maintenance experience.
- Experience with mail processing and handling preferred.
- Experience with MS Outlook required.
- WISP, Angus, eMaint, Maximo or other CMMS experience preferred
- Preferred experience with FedEx Ship Manager, postage meters, Cisco Jabber and MS Teams.
- Prefer safety‑related training or certification.
