Control System Specialist

The location in Port Alberni, BC, is seeking talent to fill the position of Control System Specialist. This job is full-time, permanent.

Work closely with department team members to:

- keep current on new process control technologies and share with operations and E/I personnel.

- Supervise systems Group E/I/ tradespeople.

- Providing training and coaching for maintenance personel

- Optimize process control strategies and infrastructure

- provide afterhours support and participate in the mill E/I on call rotation coverage

- Coordinate with outside consultants and vendorsfor project and system support

- Provide control system scope and budget input for capital and maintenance project development

- Create and maintain systems and project documentation

- Develop and coordinate systems projects and initiatives

- Identify process upgrade and optimization strategies

Salary $115,000 - $130,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
