The location in Ashdown, (Arkansas, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Planner, Maintenance. This job is full-time permanent.
Domtar is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Ashdown, AR Mill. This position reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for planning maintenance work for the areas utilizing area Craftsmen, other maintenance resources and contractors to improve safety, quality, reliability, cost and efficient operations. This is a safety sensitive position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical/trade school diploma or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of maintenance processes and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- MS Office and MS Project knowledge
- SAP knowledge
- Understanding of preventative maintenance processes
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifying and reviewing work order notifications and planning work orders for execution
- Coordinating maintenance activities by working closely with operations, purchasing and stores departments
- Consistently executing the mill-wide Maintenance Management Program
- Preparing detailed job plans and documentation to support the precision maintenance efforts
- Updating and maintaining equipment and part information in the CMMS
- Conducting weekly schedule meetings with production coordinators
- Reviewing executed work plans for improvement opportunities
- Performing maintenance on-call duty within department rotation
- Supporting/backing-up supervisors when needed
- Supervising contractors as necessary
