The location in Addison, IL. is seeking talent to fill the position.
We are looking to fill a position on the third shift, which runs from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
All Training for this position will happen on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM-10:00 PM)
Candidates interested in this position:
Must be able to work in a self-directed work environment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
Must be able to work safely and constantly be aware of surroundings.
Maintains, troubleshoots, and makes various adjustments (to accommodate different ream wrap and sizes) to Ream Wrapper, Ream Labeler, Carton Labeler, glue pots, etc.
Performs quality checks on reams and cartons at various times throughout a production run.
Assist the back stand person.
• Prepare rolls for the sheeter by stripping the outer wrap from the roll and inspecting the roll for damage or defects.
• Remove the spent butt rolls from the machine and insert the full rolls into the roll stands.
• Apply double-sided tape and trim off excess paper from the vacuum bar.
• Stage the units into position for the next splice.
• Bale all the roll wrap and defective paper from the rolls.
• Stack the corrugated end flaps onto a pallet and place the core plugs into a Gaylord box for recycling.
• Place the spent butt rolls onto the core-stripper machine.
• Remove the empty cores and place them in the rack.
• Place the spent butt rolls onto the core-stripper machine.

• Strap the bundles of cores for recycling.
Assist with preventative maintenance on the Sheeter.
Sweep the immediate work area at the beginning/end of the shift.
The team leader defines other general labor tasks.
Tools used and provided:
Pneumatic roll mover, strapping tool, core plug removal tool, broom, and dustpan.
PPE provided:
Non-prescription safety glasses, earplugs, work gloves, and steel-toe shoes.
Minimum Qualifications include:
• High School Graduate or G.E.D.
• Warehousing / Manufacturing Experience Needed
• Past Industrial Experience and Mechanical Aptitude are Helpful

Hourly Rate is $27.39
